Congratulations to Campisi’s own Tracy Romanowski for being awarded the John A. McLeish Award for 2020!

Each year, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) canvasses its members for worthy candidates who represent the most talented and dedicated advocates for access to justice and support of injured people in Ontario. The John A. McLeish Award is presented to the person, association, or group that has made an outstanding contribution to the goals of a fair trial and access to justice, as an advocate, in legal scholarship, continuing legal education, legal writing, journalism, politics, or government.

Tracy’s tireless work has been recognized specifically with respect to the HST/SABS Class Action Litigation this year. According to the OTLA, “This is an issue of great importance to accident victims and to the profession.” It is “…a difficult case that individual claimants could not afford to litigate on their own. It is providing access to justice to thousands and thousands of victims who have been shortchanged for medical and rehabilitation benefits.”

We are so proud to have Tracy on the Campisi team. She is a true example of what it means to care fiercely.
