Joseph Campisi Recognized by Best Lawyers® in Canada

Congratulations to our own Joseph Campisi who has been recognized in the 2022 edition* of Best Lawyers® in Canada for Personal Injury Litigation. Based on the principle that "the best lawyers know who the best lawyers are", professionals who are included in this prestigious listing are selected entirely based on peer review.

A highly respected resource for both clients and professionals, Best Lawyers® is the oldest peer review publication in the legal profession. For more than three decades, the organization has been conducting confidential review surveys with tens of thousands of leading lawyers across the globe, resulting in a reliable and unbiased source of legal referrals that is both respected and appreciated by the profession, the media, and by the public.

Joseph's selection by his peers is no surprise. Since his admission to the Ontario Bar in 2003, Joe has been working tirelessly for his clients, his students, and for the advancement of the profession. As the head of Campisi LLP, he has led his organization to achieve an impressive track record of wins (including a ground-breaking case involving chronic pain), a 97% customer satisfaction rate, and a diverse and inclusive team that speaks 20 languages to be able to support more of the dynamic GTA population.

As an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, Joseph continues to inspire new cohorts of legal professionals each term based on his core belief that the better you understand the law, the better you can apply it to serve your clients. He draws upon his passion, his expertise and his experience before several courts and tribunals (including the Superior Court of Justice) to teach with practical examples, engaging his students in the area of Insurance Law since 2009.

Outside of his legal practice and teaching commitments, Joe has served on the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Society of Toronto, and is currently the updating editor of the Butterworths Ontario Motor Vehicle Insurance Practice Manual. He not only cares fiercely about his clients, students, and colleagues, but he inspires them as well. He is the head of the class with the heart of a champion. Congratulations Joe!
